It contains a VCO with continuously variable waveshape and the capacity to modulate that Oscillator. |
Moog Music MF102 Moogerfooger Ring Modulator Pedal $ 289.0 ![]() The moogerfooger Ring Modulator multiplies an audio input and a carrier oscillator to produce sum and difference frequencies. The unit has a wide-range carrier oscillator (2 Hz to 4 kHz in 2 ranges) and a dual-waveform LFO (0.1 Hz to 25 Hz, sine and square waveforms).
Moog Music MF101 Moogerfooger Low Pass Filter Pedal $ 289.0 ![]() The moogerfooger Lowpass Filter is a 2-pole/4-pole, variable-resonance, voltage-controlled filter, plus a fast-acting envelope follower. Control parameters are signal mix, cutoff frequency, resonance amount, and envelope amount.
Moog Mf-107 Moogerfooger Freqbox Effects Pedal $ 354.0 ![]() The MF-107 FreqBox is different from other effects. The effected sound is not a processed version of your input signal, but the sound of the input signal modulating an internal oscillator. It contains a VCO with continuously variable waveshape, and the capacity to modulate that Oscillator in the following ways: - the VCO can be hard synced by the input signal - The VCO can be frequency modulated (FM) by the input signal - The VCO frequency can be modulated by an envelope follower which tracks the dynamics of the input signal - The Amplitude of the VCO also tracks the dynamics of the input signal Hard sync is a classic analog synthesis technique where the start of an oscillator's cycle can be reset by another. The oscillator being synced takes on the frequency characteristics of the other oscillator, and when its frequency is swept, it reinforces the harmonics of the fundamental frequency. In the case of the FreqBox, the input signal is used to reset the FreqBox's VCO. FM is a technique used to get really rich sounds from simple waveforms. The type of FM used in the FreqBox pedal is linear FM. Sounds range from gong or bell-like tones to sizzly sweeps. The FreqBox, like all moogerfoogers, works with any instrument-to-line-level input. In addition to the panel controls there are control inputs for use with expression pedals or control voltages and control outputs for interconnecting moogerfoogers like you would a modular synth. The FreqBox effects pedal can provide some really unusual processing to all types of signals - guitars, synths, drum sounds, vocals or wind instruments allowing you to enter previously unexplored sonic territory.

Moog MF-105M Moogerfooger MIDI MuRF Analog Filter Guitar Effects Pedal $ 469.0 ![]() The evolution of the MuRF continues with the MF-105M MIDI MuRF guitar pedal. The Moog MF-105M combines Bob Moog's classic MuRF and Bass MuRF to make one powerful Moogerfooger effects pedal. Its warm, resonant, 100% analog Mid and Bass filter bands bring you everything from shimmering timbral morphing and rhythmic stuttering to deep bass grooves. Like all Moogerfoogers, this guitar effects pedal is built like a tank to stand up to the toughest touring and studio use. Moog didn't stop there. In addition to the full range of Control Voltage inputs, the Moogerfooger guitar pedal also sports an extensive MIDI implementation. Create tempo-synced filter sequences with MIDI Clock Sync. Change patterns with MIDI Program Change messages. Control front panel knob settings with MIDI CC messages and play the filters in real-time with MIDI Note On commands. The Moog effect pedal is equally at home on the floor, tabletop or rack mount, and with all this sound and control in one package, the MF-105M MIDI MuRF connects you to a world of sonic expression, with tight integration into today's performance, production, DJ and remix environments. At the Heart of the MIDI MuRF is a bank of eight resonant bandpass filters tuned to fixed frequencies. The Animation module is a 24-Pattern sequencer triggering volume envelopes for the eight filters. The Freq Switch toggles between two banks of patterns: 12 bass patterns and 12 mid-range patterns. About the software Since its launch in the summer of 2009, Moog's Moogerfooger, the MF-105M MIDI MuRF guitar pedal has been an instant success. With eight analog filters under MIDI and CV control, the MIDI MuRF is one of the most powerful and flexible sound design tools around. Now for the icing on an already very sweet cake, Moog is releasing the MIDI MuRF Pattern Editor. Available as a free download to Moog MIDI MuRF owners, the Pattern Editor software allows players to create, modify and save their own patterns. Its point-and-click user interface makes pattern creation a breeze. In addition, the on-screen knobs and sliders let users optimize patterns to real-world settings without taking their hand off the mouse. The Moog MIDI MuRF Pattern Editor provides easy access to parameters only available through MIDI CC commands and saving and storing patterns on a computer allows for an unlimited number of available variations. Includes steel case with black powder coat finish and wood sides in a classic analog appearance.8 Analog Filters MuRF and Bass MuRF Filter Bands MIDI Clock Sync Tap Tempo MIDI CC Control Pattern Editor
