Waldorf Largo Software Synthesizer $ 249.99 Many producers and synthesizer enthusiasts asked for a full-blown Waldorf Synthesizer for their virtual rack, and the engineers at Waldorf listened, creating Largo&mdash the first pure software synthesizer with Waldorf DNA. Largo mirrors the technology used in Blofeld and Q hardware synthesizers, giving it a cutting-edge sound that makes a big difference. As with every Waldorf instrument, ergonomics are a core feature, though in this case, it's onscreen. Your eyes will be pleased with the Largo's clearly structured, graphical user interface that supports your workflow intuitively. The Largo softsynth offers 3 fat oscillators, two of them with sub oscillators. These oscillators include models of classic analog waveforms as well as a selection of waves from the PPG and Waldorf Wave stored in two Wavetables. All these run through two Waldorf multimode filters with steep cutoff, resonance up to self-oscillation, and a drive stage to add even more punch and graininess to the sound. Ultra-fast envelope generators and flexible LFOs, as well as an easy to understand, yet extremely versatile modulation matrix make for a sound designer's dream. Filters have always been a core part of any Waldorf instrument. With outstanding expertise in both analog and digital synthesis, Waldorf's developers took utmost care in developing the filters for the Largo softsynth. You can use comb filters for plucked, stringed, or blown sounds, and band pass, high pass, low pass, and notch filters are all available with 12dB and 24dB slope. All of them sound extremely accurate and add pure sonic quality to the sound of your music. The Waldorf Largo contains a flexible arpeggiator with 16 freely programmable steps like the one exclusive to the Q synthesizer line plus an array of high quality effects such as Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Overdrive, Delay, and Reverb. The clearly arranged user interface helps you create your own powerful synthesizer sounds in a breeze. Oscillators and filters are always in direct access while the submodules are only a mouse click away. It has the same exclusive voice architecture as the Q and Blofeld synthesizer line, fully integrated into the total recall system of your Digital Audio Workstation. The Largo softsynth works as a VST and AudioUnit instrument.

Waldorf Edition Plug-In Suite $ 99.99 The Waldorf Edition Plug-In Suite features the famous and award-winning PPG Wave 2.V Classic Wavetable Synthesizer, Attack Percussion Synthesizer, and D-Pole Filter plug-ins as VST and AudioUnit variants for your latest Windows XP (32-bit) or Mac OS X computers. The Macintosh versions are Universal Binaries allowing you to run the software on the latest Macintosh computers with Intel processors. PPG Wave 2.V PPG Wave 2.V is the reincarnation of a cult, which started back in 1982 and is now available as a VST Instrument for your PC and Mac VST system. The Wave 2 series was the first digital wavetable synthesizer with analog filters, heralding a revolution in both sound and concept. The Wave's most interesting feature was its ability to sweep through 64 waveforms in what PPG called a wavetable. Almost 2000 waveforms were available within the Wave's 32 internal wavetables. The result of this wavetable technology is that the PPG instrument has a much broader palette and more animated sound than typical analog synthesizers of the early 80s, which tended to have only a few static waveforms such as sawtooth, pulse, or triangle. The PPG sound was very unique and identifiable. Now this exclusive sound has been brought back to life with all the advantages a completely integrated software production environment such as Cubase VST has to offer: the outputs appear directly in the VST mixer so effects and EQ can be applied like any other audio channel. MIDI tracks are routed directly to the input of the PPG Wave 2.V without involving the vagaries of MIDI cables and interfaces. The polyphony now depends solely on the CPU power of your computer and opening up to 8 PPG Wave 2.Vs, each with 8 times multitimbral capability, gives you more than enough space for your sound imagination. A graphical page offers easy editing of envelopes, generators, and Cutoff/Emphasis. The combination of modern music software technology plus the charm and massive sound potential of the "old" digital days results in a unique instrument which brings back individuality and pure fun: The PPG Wave 2.V. Attack Percussion Synthesizer Attack is a percussion synthesizer with a powerful virtual-analog synth engine. It seamlessly integrates the sound of the 80s analog classics and the ambitious electronic club drums of the 90s into the virtual instrument hosts of the 21st century. Attack generates all its sounds in realtime, giving you the freedom to alter all parameters directly. The synth engine has 24 sounds available per percussion set, spread over two octaves. The sound architecture is extremely flexible, as one would expect from a Waldorf synthesizer. Two oscillators, each with nine waveforms, represent the sources. In addition to well-known analog waveforms, Attack offers three samples to help create hi-hats or crash cymbals. Ring modulation and f

Nord Wave Wavetable Synthesizer $ 2178.98 ![]() The Nord Wave PCM-based synthesizer from Clavia closes the gap between analog and digital. Now you can use digital samples in a virtual analog environment. That means that you can take a sampled sound and tweak it into something completely different in realtime. You now have the full expressiveness of the classic analog synthesizer combined with sample technology available at your fingertips&mdash all in a top quality, user-friendly, lightweight package. The Nord Wave has a classic analog synthesizer set-up with filters, LFO's and envelopes plus a massive oscillator section capable of producing classic analog waveformes (with sync), FM-synthesis, wavetables, sampled waves (wavetable with attack), noise and other miscellaneous waveforms as well as--yes--samples. Plus, oscillator modulation allows you to modulate one oscillator with the other for instance an FM-sound modulated by a sampled sound--the character of the sample is applied to the FM sound. Following in the tradition of the renowned Nord Lead series, the Wave incorporates the Lead's virtual analog synthesis, FM synthesis, and a fully-integrated wavetable engine. These can be used separately or together, allowing users to create sounds that are a step above sample-playback. The Wave features high-quality wavetables generated by Clavia, and using the USB port, users can download and install extra wave files from Clavia, as well as load their own custom waves using an integrated Editor. The Wave features new multi-filtering technology which includes a formant filter, and uses two slots for toggling between sounds, or layering them for even more complex sound. Every sample in the nord wave can be replaced. You can use your own samples--simply map any standard .wav-file in the nord wave manager software (for Windows and OS X) and transfer via USB. The exclusive Clavia hardware and software design brings you response times from note-on to sounding output like no other. The ultra-low latency simply does not compare to other hardware or especially software products. Weighing only 6Kg (14 pounds) it is the kind of instrument you easily carry with you and really will not notice. Until you plug it in. &bull Sampled waveforms: Oscillators can now use full waveforms--not single wavetables, while still routing through fully analog circuitry. &bull Oscillator models: Virtual analog, FM, wavetable, sample-playback can be applied in combination (which I hear is all the rage these days). And you can load in custom waveforms, as well, via fully user-definable memory areas (so you can delete samples you hate). Clavia even promises it will offer additional, free waves on their website. An included software sample editor lets you tweak samples. &bull Morphing: Morph almost any parameter via mod wheel, expression, velocity, or pitch, with assignable morph scenarios and morph timelines. Filters: 24db analog-modeled resonant filters, low-, high-, band-pass filters with envelope and velocity control
